Hello from Valley Ford, California!
Here is my friend, Cow # 92. She's one of hundreds of "teenagers" who hang out on the farm we're living on in Sonoma County.
The days here are sunny and warm and the evenings are cool when the fog banks move in. This picture I took early one morning reminds me of an English pastoral scene.
There is a lot to do and explore. To the west is Bodega Bay (aka Blowdega because of the very strong winds). To the east is Sonoma and Napa known for their many wineries. Just north is the Russian River, a spot for kayaking and wineries. And south is the great city of San Francisco, home of those very happy World Series winners, the Giants.
Now that I'm situated (please ignore those unsightly boxes which still need to be unpacked), I enjoy exploring all the wonderful towns of Sonoma County and working on my newest writing project, a romance set on Cape Cod.
